How to apply for a place with us — and why the best first step is always to get in touch with the principal.
The principal, together with the board chair, meets with families interested in a place. You're always warmly welcome to book a visit to see the school, meet the staff, and ask your questions before deciding.
If you'd like to join the waiting list, or have questions about how it works for your family specifically, get in touch with the principal for a clear picture of where things stand and any expected wait.
Prästhög Förskola accepts children from one year of age. If you already have a sibling with us, you have priority. Feel free to read through fees and practical information before your visit, so you're up to speed on the most common questions.
Being part of the cooperative isn't only about on-call duty, cleaning, and work days — a real sense of community grows out of it too. Many parents get to know each other through the school and spend time together outside it too, and the children play with each other in their free time, not just at preschool.
The work day each term is a good example: yes, lawns get mowed and fences get painted, but it's just as much a chance to have coffee, chat, and get to know other parents with children the same age. For many families, it becomes one of the best things about being here — not just a preschool, but a community.
Get in touch with the principal — we're happy to answer questions and show you around the school and the forest.
